Aloy will be meeting a new ally named Seyka when she arrives in the Burning Shores, and we’re slowly beginning to learn a little more about the character who’s set to debut in the upcoming Horizon Forbidden West expansion. In a PS Blog post, lead writer Annie Kitain described the new Quen companion as “confident, compassionate, and fierce” – and actress Kylie Liya Page has been recruited to play the character.
“Excited to be making my video game performance acting debut alongside Aloy as Seyka in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores,” she wrote on Twitter. “Thank you PlayStation for the opportunity to bring this character to life!”
Page has a background in both television and theatre, having starred in productions like Les Misérables and Chicago. However, this, as she pointed out, is her video game motion capture debut. And we get a good glimpse of her in action in the expansion’s launch trailer, where it looks like she’s poised to play a pivotal role in the plot. All will be revealed next week!
