Fortnite has been around for quite a while now, adding endless modes and new content to keep things fresh ever since the battle royale title first launched back in 2017. However, one thing that hasn't been introduced yet is a fully fleshed out Ranked Mode, something which is becomingly increasingly popular in the live-service scene. That looks like it may be about to change soon though, as Epic Games has now teased the addition of Ranked play.
The details are still pretty sparse at the moment, as Epic has only posted a short teaser to the official Fortnite Twitter account at the moment. In this teaser, Epic shows off several badges that increase in complexity and quality. There are eight badges in total, each one possibly signifying a rank. We don't know what the titles of these badges are, though you can clearly see that the first three are Bronze, Silver, and Gold respectively.

That's pretty much all Epic has decided to share with us at the moment, leaving fans to speculate and stew in their excitement. We have no idea when Epic is going to add this new potential Ranked Mode, whatever form it's going to take, but chances are it could be a new addition to Chapter 4 Season 3, which is expected to kick off at the beginning of June. At least we know it's coming though, and Fortnite fans are more than thrilled about it.
