Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is out, and it’s wowing people with its relatively stable performance, despite its massive additions to the core world map of Hyrule. That said there are still some lingering issues to address, and thankfully, they’ve been minor thus far.
Version 1.1.1 was released late on May 18, and it fixes a progress-blocking issue with the main story quest The Closed Door. Apparently, some folks were having problems with it “even if they fulfilled the conditions to advance the quest,” but now that’s fixed, among the classic vague “several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience” line from Nintendo.
Without spoiling anything, The Closed Door is a very early game quest, so if it’s bugged, it’s super annoying. At the very least it’s easy to just do a clean wipe and restart, but simply updating your game to version 1.1.1 is the ideal situation.
