Ubisoft revealed what’s in store for its The Division series during a franchise showcase on Thursday.
Viewable in full towards the bottom of this page, the presentation featured updates on The Division Heartland, The Division 2 and The Division Resurgence.
Ubisoft provided an in-depth look at The Division Heartland, a free-to-play game for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles which is in development at Red Storm Entertainment.
The PvEvP focused, survival-action shooter is set in the rural American Midwest town of Silver Creek, which has been left in ruins following the spread of Dollar Flu.
In the developer deep dive video above, Red Storm team members discuss early details on gameplay, classes, playstyles and other game mechanics, and provide an overview of what players can expect from the game’s upcoming test phases.
Heartland will enter closed beta later this year and players can sign up for the chance to participate.
Ubisoft has also revealed the roadmap for The Division 2’s fifth year of content.
Season 1, Broken Wings, will launch in June and feature a new rogue-lite game mode called Descent. Players can sample the mode early by participating in a public PC test server beginning today.
Season 2, Puppeteers, will feature a new Incursion that takes players to the Meret Estate for a confrontation with the Cleaners.

Season 3, Vanguard, will see players return to New York City to discover new revelations about Aaron Keener and his Rogues.
And Season 4, Black Diamond, will include new story DLC adding fresh zones, main missions, and a whole new endgame structure.
