Crime Boss: Rockay City is aiming for a 22nd June release on PS5, according to super reliable leaker billbil-kun. If correct, this means that the dismal first-person shooter will launch on the same day as Final Fantasy XVI. Can you imagine?
In case you didn't know, Crime Boss is already out on PC, and has been since March. It also got absolutely trashed by reviewers (it's sitting at a 52 on Metacritic), and those criticisms were mirrored by players at launch. From what we've seen of the game, it's fair to assume that the budget was dumped on a cast of barely-trying celebrities, while the actual gameplay was left to rot. Shockingly short missions and some baffling cutscenes make it a meme-worthy release.
The question, then, is whether it's being purposefully hidden behind a juggernaut title like Final Fantasy XVI, or whether publisher 505 Games really does think it can go toe-to-toe with one of the year's biggest blockbusters. We'll let you answer that one!
Who knows, Crime Boss: Rockay City might be a much improved game by the time it lands on PS5 — but we wouldn't get your hopes up.

Robert's been a dedicated PlayStation fan since the days of Tekken 2, and he still loves a good dust up. When he's not practising combos, he's usually getting lost in the latest 100-hour RPG, or, y'know, replaying The Witcher 3.
Both come out on my birthday lol
@Americansamurai1 Imagine asking for Final Fantasy 16 and getting Crime Boss as a birthday present.
I actually like the look of this in trailers. Some of my most played games average a 4 — 7 out of 10. I have a high tolerance for janky, scruffy games.
Thats suck for crime boss game
