Capcom’s beta for Exoprimal was surprisingly enjoyable when it went live in March, offering fun horde-based combat against dinosaurs and some interesting PvEvP ideas. However, not everyone enjoyed the mandatory PvP in some Dino Survival final missions, like Data Key Security and Energy Taker.
The development team heard the feedback and has confirmed an option to select the final mission. Players can decide whether to engage in PvP, PvE or random as their last mission in Dino Survival. If you choose PvE, it’s a race to complete the mission objectives faster than the enemy team (though they’ll likely still be able to send T-Rexes after you).
Interestingly, Capcom is also making “adjustments” for players who want to indulge in PvP. Hopefully, this means dedicated modes like team deathmatch and some balance changes. Time will tell, so stay tuned.
Exoprimal is out on July 14th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. Head here for more details on what to expect at launch and after.
