Adorable cat game Stray, one of the most beloved titles of 2022, is apparently coming to Xbox soon. Twitter user MACOS380 noticed that Stray was listed as one of the most recent ratings on the ESRB's official site, and that it includes Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as supported formats (via VGC). This would seem to suggest that the game is coming to Xbox platforms in the near future.
Of course, there's no guarantee that the release will happen in a timely manner, and there's been no official word yet, but ESRB ratings are generally reliable indicators of this sort of thing. Developed by French studio BlueTwelve and published by well-known indie label Annapurna Interactive, Stray exploded on social media thanks to its moving story and accurate depiction of our furry friends. According to Steam250, it was the second-highest rated game on Steam in 2022, behind Vampire Survivors and just ahead of God Of War 2018. It was also nominated for many awards, including several BAFTAs.
