The May 16 update addresses several bugs across both games, and it nerfs some overpowered guns in battle royale.

The latest update arrived to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on May 16, and the patch notes addressed several bug fixes, including a major perk exploit in battle royale. There's also weapon balancing for some of Warzone 2's overpowered guns.
According to the patch notes, three pistols received nerfs in Warzone 2. Season 3 Reloaded's new GS Magna and the X13 Auto will both provide less headshot armor damage at close range, and the akimbo attachment for both will also deal less close range armor damage. The armor damage was also reduced for the new FTAC Siege pistol.

Several bugs were squashed across both games, including Warzone 2's major Resupply exploit, which previously allowed players to generate lethal equipment at a much higher rate by repeatedly equipping perk packages.
This update also provided fixes for Warzone 2's Ranked Play mode. These changes address an issue that previously caused eliminated squad members to receive SR for unassisted enemy eliminations by live squad members, and another that prevented assists from tracking properly on the in-game scoreboard. Additionally, inactive players will no longer remain in Ranked Play matches.
