Cyberpunk 2077 is among the most stunning games released in recent years, and the recent addition of path tracing set the game apart from every other game that supports ray tracing in some ways even further. Add some impressive-looking mods into the mix, and you get a game that truly looks unreal, as showcased in a new video shared on YouTube.
The new video shared by Digital Dreams showcases the open-world role-playing game developed by CD Projekt Red running at 4K resolution with path tracing, the Superpopulation mod, and over 100 other modifications on an NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPU. While all the mods showcased in the video make Cyberpunk 2077 look better than ever, the Superpopulation mod is definitely the one that increases immersion the most, finally making Night City feel like the megalopolis it is supposed to be.
While only a few are able to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing following the release of the Overdrive Mode update, CD Projekt Red hasn't left all fans of the game behind. The latest update also introduced Intel XeSS support, which destroys AMD FSR 2 by providing a level of image quality on par with NVIDIA DLSS 3, with the additional benefit that it can be used with any GPU. The Polish studio is also hard at work on the game's Phantom Liberty expansion, which will release later this year worldwide. More information on the expansion will be shared starting next month.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide. The Phantom Liberty Expansion will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S only later this year.
