“The show will run a bit over an hour, focusing on PS5 and PS VR2 games in development from top studios from around the world,” according to Sony.
“Expect a glimpse at several new creations from PlayStation Studios, as well as spellbinding games from our third-party partners and indie creators.”
SIE CEO Jim Ryan provided a wide-ranging PlayStation update during a Sony business segment briefing on Tuesday.
During the presentation, he claimed PlayStation VR2 sales were tracking ahead of its predecessor after its first six weeks of availability.
Ryan said 30% of PlayStation Plus users are subscribed to the more expensive Premium and Extra tiers, which were introduced last summer.
He also said Sony has “some fairly interesting and quite aggressive plans” to accelerate cloud gaming initiatives “that will unfold over the course of the coming months”.
And PlayStation Studios boss Hermen Hulst said Bungie is being used to help rigorously vet the 12 live service games Sony has in development.
