The demon unleashes its sonic attack, and Mitsuri goes unconscious for a moment. Mitsuri remembers how she was unable to find a suitable marriage partner. Since she was a child, she ate a lot and was physically stronger than the average girl. She decided to dye her hair black and change her eating habits to find a suitable partner. However, she rejected the next proposal because she wanted to be loved for who she really is.
Mitsuri wakes up after being saved by Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya. She apologizes to them and promises to protect the group while the three search for the main body. The demon is surprised to see a mark on Mitsuri and gets annoyed with her enhanced speed.
