Sonic Prime Season 2 Will Introduce Metal Sonic
thegamer.comA new trailer for Sonic Prime that just debuted as part of Sonic Central 2023 reveals that Metal Sonic is seemingly going to be one of the antagonists of the second season.
Today marks the 32nd birthday of Sonic the Hedgehog and to celebrate, Sega released a Sonic Central livestream that showed some upcoming projects, DLC, and merchandise for the series. One of the biggest parts of the livestream was a new look at the second season of Sonic Prime, which showcased more of Sonic and Shadow's interactions, the multiverse versions of characters we know, and hinted at the introduction of a fan-favourite villain.

Towards the end of the Sonic Prime trailer, we see Sonic standing with Knuckles and Rouge the Bat while a door dramatically opens. At first, Sonic thinks that it's Nine, but it turns out that it's Prime's take on Metal Sonic, complete with a brand-new design.
