Blizzard is hosting a big Diablo IV showcase next week, the company has announced. The next Diablo Developer Update livestream will be held July 6 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET, and it promises new details on Diablo IV's first season in its live-service campaign.
In addition to the first details on Diablo IV Season 1, Blizzard will discuss upcoming quality-of-life updates for the game. The event will be hosted by associate director of community Adam Fletcher. Some of the panelists will include associate game director Joseph Piepiora and lead game producer Timothy Ismay.
Beyond Diablo IV, the event promises updates on the mobile game Diablo Immortal. Fans can hear from senior narrative designer RyanQuinn and lead user experience designer Chris Liao, who will provide new details on the next class coming to Diablo Immortal in July.
Additionally, there will be a live Q&A session at the end of the livestream.
For those who can't or don't want to watch live, the livestream is being recorded and will be available to watch after the fact. Blizzard will also post two articles on its website that dig deeper into the topics discussed during the Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal parts of the livestream.
Beyond the next Diablo livestream, BlizzCon 2023 is coming up in November, and fans can surely expect more news on Diablo then. Perhaps Blizzard might announceDiablo IV's new expansions? We'll have to wait and see.
Diablo IV is Blizzard's fastest-selling game of all time, and so far it's earned more than $666 million in revenue.
