Diablo 4’s Season of the Malignant goes live on July 20th, 10 AM PDT, but Blizzard is still reeling from the response to its first major patch. On top of nerfs to just about everything, it also added a level requirement for World Tiers 3 and 4. Confident in your build and want to progress faster? Now you can’t without grinding out the levels.
Fortunately, it seems that’s being removed soon. Diablo global community development director Adam Fletcher tweeted, “We will be removing the level requirement for World Tier 3 and 4.” As for the drop rate of Aberrant Cinders in Helltides, which seems much lower than pre-patch, series GM Rod Fergusson confirmed that it’s a bug and will be fixed in the first hotfix. It’s unknown whether that will also remove the World Tier level requirement.
Of course, for a developer response regarding all the changes, players can tune into the next Campfire Chat on July 21st. Stay tuned for more details, and in the meantime, check out the newest Legendary Aspects and Uniques here.
The Cinder drop rate change is a bug that will be fixed in our first hot fix.
