The Diablo IV team will hold a special stream tomorrow to discuss patch 1.1.1, which is set to release soon. The team will go through what's in the patch, how it will potentially affect your gameplay and builds, in addition to having a Q&A for community questions.
In case you haven't been up to date on all things demon slaying, before the Diablo IV Season of the Malignant began, the team released a very unpopular patch. After receiving tons of feedback, most of it negative, in addition to seeing the user score review bombed, the team held a Campfire Chat stream and promised greater transparency (before they plan to ruin anyone's fun).
During that stream, they promised that there would be another stream this Friday, so if you want to tune into the chat tomorrow, it will begin at 11:00 a.m. PDT and will be all things patch 1.1.1. Returning are game director Joe Shely, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, and associate director of community Adam Fletcher, who will be joined this time by lead class designer Adam Jackson. They will discuss class balance changes, quality of life updates, improvements on the way, including some that will serve to course correct from the last patch.
Given the reception for patch 1.1.0, the team vowed to never again spring a huge lengthy patch of changes like that. Essentially, this next stream is step two in the promised greater transparency over patches and how they will impact enjoyment.
With that in mind, there will also be a community Q&A following this patch, so if you join the live stream you should be able to submit your questions. There's no date yet for the patch, but it will be happening soon.
