A new Diablo IV patch is going to go live later this week, with a major patch launching later that will introduce much bigger changes.
Speaking on Twitter, the series Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher provided an update on what's coming to the fourth entry in the action RPG series by Blizzard, confirming that some hotfixes and a small client patch will be going live later this week to address some bug issues. None of these will include balance changes.
What will include balance changes is the Diablo IV patch 1.1.1. Among the confirmed changes are Barbarian and Sorcerer changes, more bug fixes, new features, and more. More information on this update will be revealed during the developer's livestream this Friday.

While the first Diablo IV season, the Season of the Malignant, should have improved the game with new content and mechanics, the patch that preceded the beginning of the season made the game much worse to play due to nerfs to all classes that have impacted almost all playstyles and builds. Only the new level requirements for World Tiers III and IV have been reverted back, so it will be interesting to see how all the other complaints will be addressed in future patches, if they will be addressed at all.
Diablo IV is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One worldwide. You can learn more about the game by checking out Alessio's review.
