Deluxe and Ultimate Editions Have Free Access to Premium Battle Pass - Diablo 4
With Diablo 4's Season of the Malignant releasing this week, Global Community Development Director, Adam Fletcher thought it was a good idea to remind everyone that if you purchased the Diablo 4 Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, you will have access to the Season of the Malignant Premuim Battle Pass for no additional charge. What is a Battle Pass in Diablo 4? Season of the Malignant Overview While it is possible for purchasers of the Diablo 4 Deluxe or Ultimate Edition to access the Season of the Malignant Premium Battle Pass for no additional charge, players can also choose to wait and claim a future Battle Pass instead. This is a nice option for anyone waiting for any upcoming quality-of-life improvements or class balance changes. As a reminder, purchasers of the Deluxe Edition will have access to the Premium Battle Pass ($10 value), and purchasers of the Ultimate Edition will have access to the Accelerated Battle Pass ($25 value), which allows players to skip 20 Tiers and also comes with a unique Seasonal Emote. However, if you've already purchased the Deluxe Edition and you want access to the Accelerated Battle Pass, you can actually save $5 by purchasing an Upgrade from the in-game shop. This Upgrade option has been available since the launch of Diablo 4, but we're not sure if it will continue to be available once Season of the Malignant releases on July 20th. We haven't seen everything that is available with the Seasonal Battle Pass yet. However, during the Developer Livestream on the topic the developers stated that in addition to the 27 free tiers, the Premium Battle Pass will include:
