A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game based on the popular The Last Ronin comic book has been announced.
“Who is the Last Ronin? In a future, battle-ravaged New York City, a lone surviving Turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost,” reads a brief description for the game that was released alongside a trailer.
The game is in development by Black Forest, and will be published by THQ Nordic. Black Forest most recently helmed the Destroy All Humans 2 remake.
“From the minds of the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and based on the best-selling comic book event by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado, and the Escorza Brothers: the official video game adaptation of TMNT: The Last Ronin.”

TMNT: The Last Ronin is currently in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is a five-issue comic book series in published by IDW Publishing.
Written by series creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird along with Tom Waltz, the story takes place in an alternate future wherein the Foot Clan has successfully taken over New York. Only one of the four Ninja Turtles remains, the titular Last Ronin.
