ID-Cooling has unveiled its brand new FROZN A620 Black Dual-Tower CPU heatsink cooler that it claims can cool up to 260W. But while that may sound impressive, it's actually the pricing of this cooling solution that's going to attract audiences.
Starting right off with the specifications, the ID-Cooling FROZN A620 is a dual-tower heatsink which means that it includes two aluminum-finned blocks that are interconnected to the baseplate with a total of 6 heatpipes. The baseplate is a nickel-plated copper design that makes direct contact with the CPU which is made using a high-precision CNC process. Both towers combine to offer a total of 108 aluminum fins stacked together for heat dissipation. This CPU cooler is said to dissipate up to 260W of power which means that it can sustain almost any modern Intel & AMD mainstream CPU.
The FROZN A620 comes with a pair of FDB fans which are designed to offer low noise and high air-flow volume. These fans are PWM-controlled & can operate between 500 to 2000 RPM, producing less than 29.85 dB(A) noise and offering 78.25 CFM of airflow. The fans plug into the standard 4-pin headers on the motherboard.
In terms of dimensions, the ID-Cooling FROZN A620 Dual-Tower heatsink measures 120x140x154 mm (W/L/H) while the fans are the standard 120mm affair. The cooler also offers up to 40mm ram clearance with the fan installed on the outer side and up to 65mm with the fan installed between the heatsink.
As for compatibility, ID-Cooling is offering support for Intel's 12th, 13th, 14th Gen & AMD AM4/AM5 CPUs. Older Intel sockets such as LGA 1200 & 115X are also supported. The cooler is also going to ship with the FROST X25 thermal compound which is rated at 10.5W/mk.
Now for the pricing, the ID-Cooling
