The full first season of the 1987 series is now available to view online for free.
The first season of the show, comprised of five episodes in total, was uploaded as one video the the official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles YouTube page. The total length of the first season is roughly one hour and 46 minutes, being made up of the episodes “Turtle Tracks,” “Enter The Shredder,” “A Thing About Rats,” “Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X,” and “Shredder & Splintered.”

The 1987 series was based on the characters from Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, though the series had a decidedly more kid-friendly tone than the source material. The show was a massive hit, spawning countless types of merchandise that ranged from toys to themed food. In the years since, multiple other Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shows and movies have been made.
The newest movie from the franchise — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem — is now playing in theaters. The official synopsis for the film reads, “After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a notorious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
