Throne & Liberty, the free-to-play MMORPG in development at NCSOFT, is getting its first confidential technical test for Western players next month, as announced by publisher Amazon Games. It's been revealed that a select group of players and guilds from the US on PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X will be selected to try out the game and offer up feedback before the official launch at some point in 2024.
If you're signed up, you will soon be allowed to participate in large-scale battles, delve into dungeons for loot, and experiment with your build all through the technical test's runtime. As for when it kicks off, the test is scheduled to begin on September 19 at 2PM PT and will run all the way to October 3 at 7PM PT. It was also announced that the test will be cross-play too, so there'll be no worries about finding other players or not being able to play with anyone else you know that's also been invited.

This is supposedly so NCSOFT can make sure the "mysteries and improvements" to Throne & Liberty are kept secret for an "impactful release".
