Kevin Eastman, the co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, has shared some thoughts on what he's seen of The Last Ronin's triple-A gaming adaptation, calling it "phenomenal" and "goosebump city".
Most Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans might currently have their pizza-obsessed brains laser-focused on Mutant Mayhem and the Dimension Shellshock DLC for Shredder's Revenge, but it might be time to start getting excited about the future. Earlier this year, it was revealed that a triple-A gaming adaptation of The Last Ronin comic series (which tells the tragic story of the last Ninja Turtle going up against the Foot Clan alone after the death of his brothers) was in early development and aiming to emulate action RPGs like God of War.

Since that reveal, nothing more has been said about the game, likely because it's so early in development. While we're not likely to see anything official from the project just yet, we have got some early impressions of it thanks to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman, who recently spoke about the game in an interview with ComicBook.com.
While talking to the site, Eastman went into detail about how the game came to be, revealing that Nickelodeon didn't want to do a full-on mainstream adaptation and instead decided to turn the comic series into a video game where it could go "all the way" with the Ronin-verse, which seems to suggest it's setting up more projects for the future.
