According to their latest newsletter, The Wagadu Chronicles is shooting for an early access launch to happen later this year. To prepare for this, the developers have launched the indie MMO's Steam page and are asking players to wishlist the game.
The Afrofantasy indie MMORPG has been in development for a bit, though it looks like developer Twin Drums is finally getting ready to release it into early access soon, as early as later this year. The newsletter is asking players to wishlist the MMO on in order to be notified when the sandbox MMO will be available for purchase later this year.
It's a major milestone for any MMO developer, especially for a small studio like Twin Drums. Earlier this year the developer removed the NDA from Alpha 3, allowing testers to share their gameplay for interested parties to check out. The Wagadu Chronicles isn't just an MMO sandbox but also a new 5th Edition setting, with the tabletop book's release «very very close,» according to atweet by Twin Drums.
