Behaviour Interactive announced that the new Dead by Daylight: Alien chapter is out on PC and consoles, delivering the signature sci-fi horror franchise to Dead by Daylight.
The playable roster now includes the Xenomorph and its nemesis, Ellen Ripley. Additionally, Ridley Scott's classic film inspired a new map called Nostromo Wreckage.
Chase Toole, Associate Artistic Director of Dead by Daylight, stated:
One of the biggest challenges of this Chapter was blending the world of Alien with the world of Dead by Daylight. We strived to honor the source material while respecting our gameplay and the universe we have built, and hope players will recognize - and appreciate – the familiar sights and twisted environmental tweaks from The Entity.

Ripley has many tricks up her sleeves, with Perks that give her silent footsteps while running and trapping Pallets, making her a resourceful and powerful ally. When playing on the Nostromo Wreckage map in Dead by Daylight: Alien, players will encounter a new feature called Steam Pipes. These are triggered by walking past them; after a few seconds, a jet of steam will be ejected, slowing down nearby Killers or Survivors. Survivors
