Season 2 Will Include 5 New Endgame Bosses - Diablo 4
Season of Blood, Diablo 4's second season, has been revealed during this year's Gamescom Opening Night. Among many other exciting changes like permanent Renown rewards, Blizzard has also announced that a total of five new endgame boss encounters will be introduced with Season of Blood.

Season of Blood will introduce a new Questline for you to uncover, Vampiric Powers to wield against their originators, 5 additional endgame bosses with the ability to target specific Unique and Uber Unique items as a drop, and more.
While we haven't learned any specifics yet, it is safe to assume that all five bosses will feature certain Unique item pools, addressing a major community pain point: the randomness of build-defining Unique item drops like. And who knows — maybe they'll even have Uber Unique items like in their item pools?
Another detail the blog post unveils is that all new boss encounters will be considered «endgame challenges». We don't know Blizzard's exact definition of «endgame» — Varshan has been called an Uber Boss prior to Season 1's release but hasn't really posed a challenge — so we can only hope that the five new encounters will enrich Diablo 4's current endgame gameplay loop.
