Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is still a little ways away, much to the agony of everyone chomping at the bit to get stuck into Peter and Miles' next big outing. There's still a little under two month to go before launch, but there is something that we can do now to prepare for the big day. It's time to start deleting all those big games you're never going to play, as the file size for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 seems to have been revealed thanks to the recent release of the game's limited edition consoles.
First shared by @SpiderManCD on Twitter, it seems as though the retail box for the swanky limited edition console that PlayStation announced not too long ago has the official file size for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on the back, which appears to be a pretty hefty 98GB. This hasn't been officially confirmed as of yet, though considering the file size is on the back on an official PlayStation product, we can assume it's legit.

It's a surprisingly big download though, coming in at almost double that of the other Spider-Man games on PS5. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered takes up 54GB of space, while Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales take up 50GB. It makes sense considering Marvel's Spider-Man 2's map is supposedly double the size of the original game's, adding previously missing boroughs such as Queens and Brooklyn. It also has dual protagonists this time around too, so maybe this file size will finally shut up all those whiners criticising the game for being "glorified DLC".
