With the free 2.0 update and the Phantom Liberty expansion including Path Tracing, Cyberpunk 2077 has again set a new benchmark for PC gaming. This new Cyberpunk 2077 Path Tracing mod makes the game even more demanding.
We already said it in our PC analysis of Phantom Liberty last week, but CDPR has delivered the most technically advanced and beautiful PC game with the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion. Several files are included in order to pick between different numbers. As mentioned by the modder, the tech requires a lot of GPU power, and he recommends using at least an NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU.
Those interested in giving this mod a go can download it from Nexusmods here. As said, be cautious when using this mod as it will greatly impact performance when using too many rays and bounces.
