Simply NUC, a company widely known for manufacturing Intel NUC products, has teased a new 4x4 Mini PC expected to feature Intel's Core i9 CPUs.
While the company hasn't disclosed details apart from a teaser, Simply NUC has revealed that the upcoming "Onyx" product will be the world's first 4x4 design featuring an Intel Core i9 CPU. Intel 13th Gen Raptor Lake CPUs are expected to be incorporated within this design but as for the SKU, we expect them to be based on the H-series family rather than the higher-end HX designs which might be a bit too much for the small chassis and limited space.
Based on the teaser, the "Onyx" 4x4 mini-PC boasts a much thicker design which could feature a beefier cooling solution or extensive storage capabilities.
The form factor of the mini-PC is expected to be a basic 4x4 design, similar to Intel's Wall Street Canyon. While the company did release the "NUC 12 Extreme" mini-PC powered by the i9-12900, we have yet to see the inclusion of Raptor Lake models, which we believe the new NUC will feature.
