Geekom has introduced the world's first and fastest 4x4 NUC Mini PC featuring an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU with 14 cores.
The Geekcom IT13 lineup of Mini-PCs features several options, including the Core i5-13500H, Core i7-13700H, and now the most powerful, Intel Core i9-13900H. For now, this is the first 4x4 NUC to house one of the fastest Core i9 chips featured within Intel's Raptor Lake lineup. The Intel Core i9-13900H CPU has a 14C/20T configuration with a max turbo frequency of 5.4 GHz.
Moving from the CPU, Geekom's 4x4 Mini NUC lineup also features well-rounded specifications. It supports up to 64 GB DDR4-3200 memory in a dual-channel configuration for memory and storage options. The absence of DDR5 memory raises a question since Raptor Lake mobile CPUs are known to perform at their best with DDR5 memory. For storage, you will get 1 x M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 x 4 SSD slot and 1 x 2.5" SATA HDD, providing ample expansion room for your needs.
The main reason behind the delay in utilizing Intel Core i9 CPUs was its high TDP, which makes its usage in MIni-PC much more complex. For example, thermals can become a huge issue. However, Geekom has devised a solution through its revamped cooling system. The company's data reveal that upon 2 hours of testing at 3DMark, the IT13 maintained an average temperature of 37.4°C. They haven't disclosed whether the testing was done on a Core i9 unit, so you should wait for official reviews before concluding on the device's thermal effectiveness.
The Geekom IT13 4x4 NUC lineup features several onboard connectivity ports at the back and front, making the PCs much more accessible daily. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, which is also an add-on bonus. Through its minimalistic design, the IT13
