Over the past few weeks, the PlayStation 5 hacking scene has been making excellent progress, with one developer creating 60 FPS patches for multiple games, such as Bloodborne and Red Dead Redemption 2, that can run on a hacked console. This, however, seems only to be the tip of the iceberg, as some games can run at over 100 FPS with unlocked framerate on hacked consoles.
Illusion, the developer behind the aforementioned 60 FPS patches, recently provided proof that games like Bloodborne and The Last of Us Part II can run at close to 100 FPS and even above on PlayStation 5 with some tweaking. The former can run at around 110 FPS in some instances at 720p resolution, while the latter can run at 85 FPS at 1440p and close to 105 FPS at 1080p. Unfortunately, there is no way to force a 120 FPS output as of now, and VRR is not available on firmware 4.03, but with the rapid progress that is being made, it wouldn't be surprising to get at least 120 FPS output in the future.

It's somewhat baffling how developers without documentation can develop 60 FPS patches for PlayStation 4 while the development studios won't update their games to take advantage of the PlayStation 5 power. This is even baffling for PlayStation 4 exclusive games like Bloodborne that
