For over a decade, almost every single year has seen Nintendo holding a Direct presentation in the month of September, and unsurprisingly, that’s going to be the case this year as well. Previous leaks have claimed that a Nintendo Direct is planned for this September, and another insider has now claimed the same.
Responding to a question on Twitter, prominent leaker NateTheHate recently said that the rumoured Nintendo Direct will be happening “soon-ish”. Though some have wondered lately whether the recent Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct may mean that a general Direct presentation isn’t planned, NateTheHate has refuted that, saying in a separate tweet, “One doesn’t negate the other.”
Given the fact that Nintendo has consistently had a Direct presentation planned for the September of every year over the last decade with the exception of only 2015, it would have been fair to assume that 2023 wouldn’t be any different. Of course, the Direct is yet to be officially announced, but it seems like it won’t be too long before that happens.
Soon-ish.
