Blizzard has confirmed that there will be another update for Diablo 4, Diablo 4 patch 1.1.4, before the launch of Season 2 - Season of Blood.
Diablo 4 patch 1.1.3 was released across all platforms last week, and with the game's second season kicking off next month, some fans were wondering if there would be another patch before the arrival of the new season. As now confirmed by Blizzard's community director Adam Fletcher on Twitter - there will indeed be another update in the form of Diablo 4 patch 1.1.4. "There will be a 1.1.4 yes", Fletcher wrote on Twitter. No additional details about this upcoming patch were shared, but the Community Director did confirm that fans will soon be getting more information about Season 2 - Season of Blood.

Diablo 4 Season 2 was officially announced during this year's Gamescom 2023 event. The Season of Blood will focus on the vampiric theme, and in the season's announcement trailer, we were provided a glimpse at vampire hunter Erys. Diablo 4's second season will offer a new questline for players to discover as well as vampiric powers to wield. In addition, the season will offer five additional endgame bosses.
"At the behest of their dark master, a newly turned army of ravenous vampires has set their sights on Sanctuary", Blizzard wrote last month. "The master’s sinister plot remains a shrouded mystery but their pursuit for the blood of innocents has caused an uproar. You must learn to hunt the hunter—your fate depends on it."
