Batman: Arkham Trilogy has been delayed on Switch
The upcoming Nintendo Switch release of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy has been delayed.
A post from the official Batman Arkham Twitter account confirmed that the collection, which was due for release on October 13, has been held back two months.
“Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch will now launch on December 1, 2023,” it reads.
“More time is needed to bring players the best possible experience on Nintendo Switch. We apologise to fans who are excited to play this version of the trilogy. Thank you for your patience.”
Bundled with all previously released DLC, Arkham Trilogy will mark the first time the series has appeared on Nintendo‘s console.
The trilogy is being developed for Nintendo’s console by Turn Me Up Games, which previously handled Switch versions of It Takes Two, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, and Borderlands Legendary Collection.
Originally developed by Rocksteady, the games gained massive acclaim when they were first released. Since then, Rocksteady’s next project, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, has faced some difficulty. The game, which was met with fan backlash following a gameplay presentation, was delayed by almost an entire year.

In a statement made in April, the studio said the game had been pushed from its previously scheduled May release to February 2, 2024.
“We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players,” it said.
“Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, patience and understanding. There is much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year.”
