Pre-orders for the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds were the third best-performing title on Steam last week.
Pre-launch purchases rose up one spot to No.3 ahead of the game's February 28th release, signalling a great deal of anticipation surrounding this new entry in Capcom's long-running action RPG series. Back in 2019 – following the launch of Monster Hunter Worlds – the Japanese giant revealed that PC was the second best performing title for the title.
Counter-Strike 2 rose up one spot to take No.1 once more, as did Civilization 7. The strategy title debuted at No.3 upon its February 10th release, though there was only one day of chart data likely down playing how well it had performed. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 dropped three positions to fourth as it crosses two million sales, while Apex Legends rose 22 spots to No.5 on the release of a brand new season of content.
Valve's Steam Deck, PUBG: Battlegrounds and Marvel Rivals all dropped one spot to sixth, seventh and eighth respectively, while new Obsidian RPG Avowed debuted at ninth place. Warframe returned to the Top Ten having risen up two positions.
