It’s dangerous to go alone out into space, so recruiting the best Starfield companions will help you out on your journey across the cosmos.

You’ll find a lot of the recruitable companions during main story missions, and a few of them are even romanceable – if that’s what you’re into.

The four that you can romance are the main story companions, and are all members of Constellation — but there are plenty more companions you can find and recruit during your galactic adventure.

All of them have their own skills that can help you out in a variety of different ways.

There are over 20 Starfield companions that you can find and recruit during your adventure in Bethesda’s latest RPG. Each one can be hired to work for you, follow you around and carry your items for you.

Four companions are heavily involved in the main story and can all be added to your crew early on if you choose to focus solely on the main missions.

Each of these four Constellation companions can be romanced, too, and are as follows: Andreja, Barrett, Sam Coe and Sarah Morgan.

Outside of those four, there are plenty more companions to find and recruit, with many of them hanging around at spaceports and other random locations.

It’s worth recruiting as many as possible, as they will help out on your ship, in combat and at outposts. Here are all of the companions in Starfield we know about so far.
