Intel's next-gen Core Ultra 7 155H CPU which will be part of the Meteor Lake family has been leaked and shows some impressive performance figures.
The 1st Gen Core Ultra "Meteor Lake" CPU has leaked out within the Geekbench benchmark and it can be clearly seen that the chip is part of the upcoming mobility family based on its branding that reads Core Ultra 7 155H. This CPU is positioned within the same segment as the 13th Gen Core i7 parts so performance should be compared against those.
Intel Meteor Lake Mobility CPU Lineup Expected Features:
In terms of specifications, the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H "Meteor Lake" CPU features a 6+8+2 config. This includes 6 Performance cores based on the Redwood Cove architecture, 8 Efficiency cores on Crestmont architecture, and an additional two E-Cores using the same architecture that is found within the SOC tile. The clock speeds for this particular entry were rated at 3.8 GHz base and 4.78 GHz boost which might be ES clocks since we've heard that Meteor Lake chips can boost above 5.0 GHz in previous leaks. Following are the clock speeds reported within the Geekbench 6 log:
Additional specs for the CPU include 24 MB cache and the TDP should be classified within the 15-28W range which is the standard for these parts. Now for the performance, in single-core, Intel's Core Ultra 7 155H "Meteor Lake" CPU scored 2346 points while in multi-core, the chip scored an impressive 12,853 points. The testing platform was an HP Spectre X360 2-in-1 laptop running the "Balanced" profile so this is in no way the final performance.
Despite that, the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H "Meteor Lake" CPU came out just as fast as the Core i9-13900H and even outperformed the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS. The CPU also ended up
