Nintendo already has a pretty strong holiday season lined up with the likes of Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the Super Mario RPG remake on the way, but it seems more news may be coming down the ol’ warp pipe. The company has traditionally held a substantial Nintendo Direct in September, doing so for four of the last five years. Well, if rumors are to be believed, the same will happen this year. As we’ve already reported, longtime Nintendo leaker NatetheHate has hinted a Direct is coming “soon-ish,” and website Universo Nintendo has gone further, suggesting we’ll see something next week between September 11 and September 15. Other insiders have also made hints something is on the way.
If a Nintendo Direct is imminent, what can we expect to see? Well, that’s where Pyoro comes in. They may be relatively new to the insider scene, but Pyoro pretty much nailed everything about the last big Nintendo Direct, leaking that a new 2D Mario and Mario RPG remake would be revealed. They’ve also delivered accurate info about Sonic Superstars and more in the past. Well, Pyoro has waded back into the fray with some new hints, starting with…
Let's just say fans of a certain MATLAB function will be happy with the upcoming Direct

So, what does that mean? Well, MATLAB is actually a tricky math reference to Nintendo’s long-neglected F-Zero franchise. There actually have been F-Zero rumors floating around for a while, so it seems we may finally be getting some news. Pyoro also chimed in when somebody suggested that we’ll just get some F-Zero GBA titles added to Nintendo Switch Online, saying that’s not what they were hinting at.
On to Pyoro’s next hint, which is a lot easier to parse.
