With Gamescom 2023 happening next week and several announcements teased for Opening Night Live, Destiny 2 fans have a lot to look forward to on August 22nd. That’s when the next Destiny 2 Showcase airs with Bungie detailing more information about The Final Shape, the next expansion which concludes the Light and Darkness Saga.
A new teaser trailer is available, and while short, it does see Guardians piloting their ships into the Traveler. To be more specific, they’re entering the triangle-shaped hole that The Witness created using The Veil in Lightfall. What lies beyond? Tune into the showcase to find out.
Destiny 2: The Final Shape is out next year for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. In the meantime, Season 22 will go live on August 22nd after Season of the Deep ends. Along with nerfs to Strand and increases to Masterwork material caps, players can expect an Exotic Mission Rotator to revisit past Exotic Missions and obtain their weapons.
