It’s been a whirlwind of a week for us at TSA, with a big part of that down to two of us being at Gamescom. We’ve played so many games that it’s hard to pick the best ones out, but I’m very excited for Bellwright, Mudrunner Expeditions and Mortal Kombat 1.
Tuffcub has not been playing Destiny 2. But he’s also been playing The Expanse and New Zealand Story. Which sounds like the best week ever frankly.
Nic B has been playing Duolingo and Sea of Stars. Gamoc meanwhile has been playing Hogwarts Legacy and almost finished the story. He says, “It’s shorter than I thought it would be when I first started. Realistically I should’ve gotten bored given how long it takes to get going but I think that fact that I grew up reading the books kept me going. I’ve also played Diablo IV once. My seasonal character is now the same level as my main. I’m a bit tired of it.”
Aran smashed through Immortals of Aveum “which is the epitome of a 7/10 game”. He’s now playing Shadow Gambit The Cursed Crew for review
Reuben has been continuing to plug away at Pokémon Unite, trying to get Mega Mewtwo Y from the anniversary event that’s going on and realising “that I’m not very good at the game. Otherwise, I’ve finally got onto Houseflipper, which is a great game to switch off my brain to after stressful Unite games.”
To no one’s surprise, Nick P has been playing Street Fighter 6. He also got time in on Dead by Daylight and the newly released Texas Chainsaw Massacre “which I’m quite enjoying.”
Steve also started off the week with some Texas Chainsaw Massacre and then (unrelatedly) got struck down by a nasty flu bug. It meant he missed out on a family holiday trip and instead took solace in ancient China with Wo Long which he says, “is mostly pretty
