September is a massive month for Game Pass with the day-one release of Bethesda’s Starfield, but there are plenty more games coming to the subscription service soon.
As outlined in a post on Xbox Wire, Gris makes a return to the Game Pass library today, September 5, across console, PC and cloud.
The big one is of course Starfield, which launches day-and-date tomorrow, September 6, on Game Pass. It’s available to play early, if you want to fork out extra. Here’s IGN’s Starfield review for more, and IGN’s useful interactive Starfield maps, if you’re already playing.
Next up is stylish action platformer Solar Ash, available in Game Pass across console, PC, and cloud on September 14. Solar Ash is from the developers behind Hyper Light Drifter. In it you play Rei, a Voidrunner determined to stop at nothing to save her planet from falling prey to the Ultravoid’s path of eternal hunger.
Here’s another big-hitter: soulslike Lies of P launches day-one on Game Pass on September 19 across console, PC, and cloud. Check out IGN’s extensive Lies of P coverage for more.
Another September day-one Game Pass game is the Gang Beasts-esque Party Animals, which hits the service on September 20. Starbreeze’s hotly-anticipated co-op shooter Payday 3 is a steal on Game Pass from September 21. And Cocoon, from Jeppe Carlsen, the lead gameplay designer of Limbo and Inside, rounds out the September day-one Game Pass games, launching on September 29.
As usual, a raft of games also leave Game Pass this month. On September 15 the following games exit Game Pass:
