The second wave of games coming to throughout the final weeks of September 2023 have been announced. Once again there are a couple of AAA day-one releases, meaning the rest of the list is somewhat lacking. The good news is that those games include Lies of P and Payday 3.
The second wave of Xbox Game Pass games for this month begins tomorrow, September 20, with the day one release of the multiplayer physics-based brawler Party Animals. Co-op shooter Payday 3 promises challenging heists a day later on September 21.
All of the September 2023 Wave 2 games follow on from the release of the Pinnochio-inspired souls-like Lies of P, which was supposed to be released today but actually became available a day early on September 18. The full list of games for the rest of the month and the start of October 2023 are:
As well as the new games, Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play members can begin a 10-hour trial of EA Sports FC 24 on September 22. The game is released on September 29 but won’t be hitting Game Pass on day one.
There are also a couple of new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks heading our way. The EA Sports UFC 4 Champion Fighter Customization Bundle unlocks Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, the Kumite Customization Pack, and the Backyard Customization Pack until October 5. Then there’s the Juiced Up Weapon Charm for Apex Legends available until October 9 too.
Finally, along with the good news comes the bad in the form of a list of seven games that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 15. These are:
While Shenzen I|O was initially included in this list, it has since been removed and is now unlikely to leave the service next month.
