Xbox has revealed the first wave of games coming to Game Pass in the month of October, which include two games that are available now and several that are coming soon. (It also lost a few games as well.) The marquee title here is obviously the new Forza Motorsport, which will be available on the service day one on October 10, but there are a number of other games that will emerge in the coming days. It's also worth noting that you can buy Forza's Premium Upgrade in order to play it early, as it includes five days of early access, meaning you can start playing it on October 5 instead of October 10.
The two games that are available today are Gotham Knights and The Lamplighter's League. Gotham Knights is a multiplayer action-RPG that stars four of DC's Bat Family as they seek to take the city back from Gotham's hordes of dangerous criminals following Batman's death. The Lamplighters League is a turn-based combat game somewhat comparable to XCOM that takes place in an alternate 1932, where a sinister cult called the Banished Court is trying to conquer the world using fell magic. It's a pulpy adventure straight out of the pages of Lovecraft or Robert E. Howard, and it's available for the first time today.
