We're quite looking forward to Hellboy Web of Wyrd. This upcoming game based on the popular comic books puts a roguelike spin on the character and his supernatural world, matching the visual style and telling an original tale as well. However, publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment has announced it'll be a slightly longer wait than we were expecting.
Initially set for 4th October, the game has now been pushed back, though only by a couple of weeks. Its new release date is 18th October on all platforms, including PS5 and PS4.
Not much is said about the delay in a press release. «Developer Upstream Arcade is still hard at work ensuring that all players — longtime fans and newcomers to the Hellboy universe alike — receive the best experience possible,» it says.
Obviously, a two-week delay isn't that big of a deal, and if it helps the team put out a better game, we don't see the harm. The only trouble it may find with the new date is that it's now much closer to a slate of major releases, but if you were planning on buying it anyway, a couple of weeks probably isn't changing anything.
Anyway, are you excited for Hellboy Web of Wyrd? Let us know in the comments section below.

It doesn't have Ron Perlman as the voice of Hellboy. As soon as I heard the voice actor, I lost interest.
