It feels a little bit like any time anyone dares to suggest Nintendo will reveal the Switch's successor any day now and confirm it'll be here sometime in 2024, Nintendo responds by doing something that suggests the Switch still has a lot of life in it yet. Whether it's announcing a bunch of games all at once, Super Mario Bros. Wonder leading the way, or revealing a brand new special edition OLED Switch launching right before Wonder.
Speaking of which, Nintendo has now added to that pile by revealing two more Switch models launching before the end of 2023. Two more Switch Lites, a model that has been seriously overlooked when it comes to special edition versions, whose designs are inspired by Animal Crossing: New Horizons. A teal Timmy and Tommy's Aloha Edition, and a coral Isabelle's Aloha Edition.

Both consoles have Animal Crossing-style leaves printed on the back, and both also come with a copy of New Horizons. Definitely worth noting as not only is that not usually the case, but it actually very rarely happens. Nintendo or otherwise, special edition consoles usually launch before the games they're connected to in order to promote them so naturally can't include the game itself. Mario Wonder's red Switch is a perfect example of that.
