CableMod has launched "revamped" 12V-2x6 angled power connector adapters, featuring an all-new design that will hopefully eradicate existing issues.
We are familiar with the 12HWPR connector fiasco and how it took the GPU industry by storm. CableMod did come to the rescue at that time, but they themselves fell victim to problems such as cable melting and many more issues related to adapters wiggling and not retaining enough power connection with the GPUs. This tarnished the company's reputation to an extent, and with the new cable adaptors, CableMod once again tries to rebuild the trust of its customers & hopefully get rid of the issues once and for all.
New revised angled adapters available now!
What does the v1.1 bring to the table?
- CEM 5.1 standard female connector;
- Improved tightness on the male connector;
- Removed wiggle between PCB and male connector.

The main highlights include:
The newest v1.1 revision includes improved terminals and the new CEM 5.1 female connector.
Slim Profile
Our 12VHPWR 180 Degree Angled Adapter only protrudes 15.4mm from your graphics card, which means increased space and more clearance between your GPU and your side panel. This enables the installation of super-wide cards in a more narrow chassis.
Zero Bending
Our angled adapters utilize a reinforced PCB design to achieve an angled connection. No wire bending ensures full contact with all cable terminals, and zero risk of thermal issues through excessive wire and terminal stress from tight bending radii.
Multi-Layered Cooling Solution
To ensure peak performance, our angled adapters use a 2oz copper PCB with applied
