Sky Raiders are on the way in Crossout , with the next major update coming next week. The new update introduces large-scale aerial warfare, adding new aircraft and more options to play how you like.
Crossout will add a dedicated slot to your garage for aircraft that you build and collect. This is designed to work similarly to building ground vehicles, so the learning curve shouldn’t been too steep. Because you are building armored aircraft, there will be additional requirements, like adding rotors to your aircraft, that will be different. Having various rotors in the game will also lend different customizable options for how you want to play.
Armored aircraft was already something many had the opportunity to try, but this update will make it an integral part of the game going forward. Everyone can put together their own air fleet. To get you started, when you reach reputation level 10 with the engineers faction, you'll get a starter armored aircraft.
There will be additional parts that will help in the ground to air battles, including anti-aircraft weapons, a bomb launcher, and a way to deflect rockets via heat traps. This way, those who want to go all out and fly around in the newest shiniest addition to Crossout , those who continue wanting to engage on the ground will have some defenses and strategies of their own to come up with.
The update will introduceseparate missions that are based on the existing modes, But now mixing the battles between armored vehicles and armored aircraft. Aircraft can enter “Patrol" «Back on Patrol» and «Bedlam» modes, while there will still be some ground-only modes remaining, at least for now.
