Developed by Journey developer Thatgamecompany, Sky is about connections, collaboration, exploration, solving puzzles, and friendship. It is intentionally a peaceful and cozy MMO where you explore and connect with others, team up, fly around various realms, and find and collect spirits. Help the spirits and you'll get a resource known as winged light from the Children of Light. It fills your tank in a way because this is what lets you fly around and continue your adventures.
Steam Next Fest runs through October 16th, and you can download and play a demo version on PC right now. If you play through the demo, Any progress you make in the demo version will stay tied to your Steam account. When the game does launch on PC at a date to be announced, that progress will carry over. If you've already been playing on a different platformlike mobile or Nintendo Switch, you can link that account to Steam and when it’s out on PC, Able to continue from wherever you left off on the other platform.
The PC demo is definitely a demo, and the team is paying attention to feedback and any issues that might turn up. With that in mind, it is a demo, so it’s not the fully featured version we’ll eventually get. That said, this is the first taste of the free to play cozy game on PC, and it will let you get a sense of what the basic ideas and mechanics are and feel like to play.
