Compared to other RPGs, Starfield isn't a particularly puzzle-heavy game, as there won't be many times during main or side quests where you will need to use your brain to proceed further.
When this happens, however, the game doesn't do a great job of explaining what has to be accomplished to solve a puzzle. This is definitely the case of the glyph puzzle in the Unity quest, as some players may feel confused and fail to understand how to activate the glyph to proceed into the quest.
The Unity quest in Starfield is among the game's most interesting ones, as it finally gives the player a better understanding of their mission and what is at stake. Before this can happen, however, you will be traveling all over the Milky Way following the Pilgrim's footsteps and learning more about this very unique individual.
After reaching Pilgrim's Rest on Indum II and discovering the Pilgrim's Final Writing, you will need to find the truth hidden on Hyla II inside the Scorpion's Sting. Following the quest marker, you will reach some old ruins that feature what looks like a scorpion's tail that lets out a beam of light and a glyph.
If you look at the ground, however, you will notice a representation of the Scorpius Constellation, and to proceed further in the quest, you will need to point the beam of light at the tail of the constellation on the ground. To do so, interact with the circles all around the glyph to direct the beam properly.
After this is done, you only need to get to the last star of the Scorpius Constellation to meet some unexpected individuals. After the dialogue sequence is done, you will have completed the Unity quest.
