A freshly-released Metro Exodus mod for PC adds a new open-world level to the game which can be fully explored.
Back in January of this year, developer 4A Games released the Metro Exodus SDK, which allowed those who own the game to edit scenes, terrains, weather, models, and much more. Fast forward eight months, and modder 'ADRUNKEWOK' has now released his/her own open-world level. According to the modder, learning how the use the game's development tools as well as creating this level took months. The 'Metro Calls' open-world level for Metro Exodus can be downloaded through Nexusmods here. The mod weighs in at roughly 16.5GB so it's quite the download, and you'll need to download the Metro Exodus SDK from the Epic Games Store or Steam.

It masters this with ease. From tight gunplay to well-developed stealth mechanics, the game offers variety within the confines of its own rules.
