The Red Dead Redemption remaster rumors have quickly gone from smoke to blazing fire. Insider Tez2 discovered a new logo for the game on Rockstar’s website with the reference Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar Presents Ver). It now seems that PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch have been added as platform buttons in a call-to-action (CTA) prompt.
The first two are the game’s launch platforms, which makes sense. However, Nintendo Switch is a new addition, which suggests that the rumored remaster could be coming to the same. Of course, it’s also possible that Rockstar Games releases the original version for Switch instead of the remaster.
It all depends on how extensive the remaster is and whether it’s a simple HD version or one with heavily revamped graphics. Time will tell, so stay tuned. However, with rumors claiming an announcement in August, it may not be long before we find out, potentially at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 22nd.
Plus, Rockstar included RDR1 to the Ratings list of the modern site modules.
RDR1 Original site doesn't use those modules. Suggesting a site update.
